An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 8th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Zuberoa Artiaga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zuberoa Artiaga made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 16th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Gamus Rocha hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín's attentive Sandu Mândrilă managed to snatch the ball when Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Åkerström came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 62nd minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Fred Åkerström. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Espellosa in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Gamus Rocha. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa managed to work through Italy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Niva Espellosa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 83rd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. When Sigfrido Auletta got free in front of the goal in the 92nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
