Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Stenman in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Anton Stenman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Karlsborg's Tor Brolin. But to his dismay, Tor Brolin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Anton Stenmans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Keld Paulsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 36 minutes, Anton Stenman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlsborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Stenman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 43rd minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Björn Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Olav Graversen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Björn Blomkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. In the 63rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Denmark booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Classon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Blomkvist having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Björn Blomkvist made a huge save. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Chris Nygaard sped through Karlsborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Björn Blomkvist. The supporters of Denmark booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villiam Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fred Lund hit a great ball. Björn Blomkvist made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Bertram Svenningsen sent off a good shot on target. Björn Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
