The supporters of Karlsborg booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dostal, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joel Classon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Valdemar Turecek hit a great ball. Björn Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, Joel Classon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vavrinec Holub, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Magnusson in the 25th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Edvard Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Classon's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Daniel Vitek kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, David Rusil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalimil Charvat hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anton Stenman hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Classon made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Classon to maneuver through the defense. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalimil Charvat to maneuver through the defense. Dalimil Charvat got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anton Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. Anton Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Anton Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tor Brolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Stenman went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Czech Republic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
