Omar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Velimir Popchev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when VN Keleler's Angelo Casero fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Hakkı Kenan Pınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Hakkı Kenan Pınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Casero in the 23rd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velimir Popchev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Casero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 88 minutes of play, Spain's Carles Cherro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Velimir Popchev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Sergio Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Velimir Popchev. VN Keleler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Spain played a much better game than VN Keleler and deserved their victory. The VN Keleler players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
