The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Ekialde Latorre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 17th minute, Ekialde Latorre made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 21st minute, Itzaina Bonet made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Itzaina Bonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dunixi Cendan in the 28th minute. Though ot was a great shot Serbia's keeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 39 minutes into the game, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Aurelijus Rimeika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The supporters of Serbia booed when La Vieja Guardia Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sreten Popovic was the one to do the kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertaç Ayazoğlu in the 53rd minute of the match. Sreten Popovic's late challenge caught a La Vieja Guardia Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sreten Popovic helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Vieja Guardia Jrs booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sreten Popovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dunixi Cendan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Vieja Guardia Jrs. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Itzaina Bonet in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Christiano Alzola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Ekialde Latorre sped through Serbia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. 76 minutes into the match, Itzaina Bonet notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurelijus Rimeika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Itzaina Bonet went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekialde Latorre in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ertaç Ayazoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ertaç Ayazoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the La Vieja Guardia Jrs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
