In the 9th match minute, Ostdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Sikola to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Gdowik struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostdorf. In the 20th minute, Waclaw Sikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szczepan Polkoski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonhard Maier in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Marvin Harrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Szczepan Polkoski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Gdowik got free with Fabio Auer in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the game, Iwo Dubiel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Austria's Marvin Harrer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 36th minute Sandro Galishoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Polkoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szczepan Polkoski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Nalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Galishoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
