Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yin Lin Song fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Witold Bycofski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. In the 27th minute, Witold Bycofski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Andrzej Harbaszewski made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mateusz Hajto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 37th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Witold Bycofski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Witold Bycofski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
