An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 18th minute of play forced R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Spain got a corner. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 21 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when David Aranda came free, but Tony Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Cristo Rey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gabriel Ascaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Rey struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И. Tony Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aranda in the 33rd minute of play. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha. Tony Uchiha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Spain's Gabriel Ascaso got control of the ball when Cristo Rey tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Rey to strike the kick off in the second half. Tony Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 60th minute of the match. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Tony Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristo Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tony Uchiha made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Carles Cherro sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match Spain got a corner. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon Cubero ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Cristo Rey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot.
