Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucero Mezquita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislav Abovský made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucero Mezquita immediately put the ball in play. 14 minutes into the match, Roberto Peto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucero Mezquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Roberto Peto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Sperides's Henning Valler made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Fortun Roca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Peto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sperides. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Peto in the 38th minute of play.

Sperides made a substitution. Nestor Gonzáles replaced Lucero Mezquita. The wind increased when Nestor Gonzáles made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Peto took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 56 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Gonzáles came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henning Valler hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sperides getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Henning Valler hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Nestor Gonzáles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Gonzáles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Peto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Sperides were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartolomé Vagrande took the corner. The corner ended in Bartolomé Vagrande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen did a great save. If Roberto Peto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Roberto Peto made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Gonzáles's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Mikkel Wulff hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Valler in the 89th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
