In the 7th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Elizardo to maneuver through the defense. Jake Leonard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neron Veterini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Julio Tano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. After 30 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Fred Nilsson. The wind increased when Neron Veterini made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Neron Veterini came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neron Veterini's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Neron Veterini came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Jake Leonard in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jake Leonard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ringo Howard during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Netherlands booed when WINNING ELEVEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ringo Howard didn't get a good kick on the ball. WINNING ELEVEN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
