In the 16thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caprichosos FC's Elias Rojelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. After 24 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Rojelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Germany fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Germany's Frank Sachs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 39th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caprichosos FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Rojelio came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Filiberto Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Godofredo Gaztea came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Caprichosos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Gaztea couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Elias Rojelio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
