Jim Lyons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 17th minute of play forced AC Cazzo's goalkeeper Orbay Başöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. After 28th play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Orbay Başöz and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sertel Sadreddin got free with Casper Claes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jim Lyonss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute of play forced AC Cazzo's goalkeeper Orbay Başöz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Belgium booed when AC Cazzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simone Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AC Cazzo's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orbay Başöz came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, AC Cazzo's Orbay Başöz got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, AC Cazzo's goalkeeper Orbay Başöz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orbay Başöz could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Başöz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orbay Başöz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.
