Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 5th minute of the match. Pirmin Jäggi took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ivan Dové hit a great ball. Fabricio Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Paly having to make a save. After 18 minutes, Friedrich Nietzsche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. 19 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly. Lionel Paly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emery Heller in the 21st minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emery Heller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivan Dové charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Dové the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wil 1900! FC Wil 1900:s Lionel Paly showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Barreto:s penalty. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of play. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Paly saved FC Wil 1900 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Viriato Moura put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lionel Paly. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tory Pryor went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tory Pryor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Téo Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emery Heller, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Heller in the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Pirmin Jäggi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Bruno Bastos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tory Pryor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. When Emery Heller came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC Wil 1900 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emery Heller couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graciano Coutinho. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after FC Wil 1900's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Pirmin Jäggi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Pirmin Jäggi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Rosa got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ivan Dové. Bartolomeu Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Wil 1900 had played much better football throughout.
