Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Serbia's Sreten Popovic started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Sreten Popovic got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovan Borisov to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, MARINUS MZC's Alex Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Marcos Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. Borjan Golubovic struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Abel Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. In the 23rdth minute of the game Sreten Popovic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARINUS MZC's Abel Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Munhoz made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. 25 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Sreten Popovic came free, but Abel Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Sreten Popovic elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Luiz Gustavo Bueno got a free kick in the 39th minute. Abel Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drasko Rajkovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Serbia booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Guimarães. Daniel Munhoz got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Thiago Ortiz. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marcos Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARINUS MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Ortiz in the 55th minute of the match. Valdo Guimarães hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of MARINUS MZC booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Thiago Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute, Erivaldo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borjan Golubovic hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match.
