Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. In the 51st minute Kåre Uter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Vergaray in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Fe hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes, Netherlands's Lars Meesters shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arsenio Cordeal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. In the 58th minute Valentin Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vergaray came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Cordeal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Vergaray in the 87th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Gijsbert ter Kruimer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Plebeyos booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Lauren in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plebeyos had won after a very even match.
