LAS DELICIAS's Israel Cordera got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as LAS DELICIAS's Oscar Moreno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. Ciro Asteri's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Slovakia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Oscar Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LAS DELICIAS fully deserved thier win.
