Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alonso Snider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Chin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after San Antonio HotSPURS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in San Antonio HotSPURS's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Chin came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Chin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Chin. Domingo Chin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Domingo Chin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Antonio Corley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Domingo Chin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Chin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 37th minute of the match. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to San Antonio HotSPURS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Antonio Corley hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 48th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Domingo Chin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonso Snider to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. The supporters of San Antonio HotSPURS booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Artemio Norino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Njurenius in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Antonio Corley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Alonso Snider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. San Antonio HotSPURS's Micah Alston was substituted for Antonio Corley. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Chin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Micah Alston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Antonio HotSPURS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
