Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Östen Hedin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Bobrowski in the 8th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Tanek Bobrowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 2-0. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 16th minute of play. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ulf Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brazilio Butt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DIF LEEDS BK's Jesper Larsson was substituted for Mei Jie Feng. 69 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Brazilio Butt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Ulf Nordlander got a free kick in the 72nd minute. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. After 75 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brazilio Butt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 76th minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Brazilio Butt. DIF LEEDS BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Novac, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Beckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DIF LEEDS BK.
