The supporters of Netherlands booed when Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levente Pucheli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vendel Sass prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 12th minute of play forced Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's goalkeeper Vendel Sass to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Vendel Sass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. Vendel Sass didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vendel Sass having to make a save. Vendel Sass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of the match. When Alex Zádori came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Zádori couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gedeon Fenyves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Fenyves in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Vendel Sass successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vendel Sass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vendel Sass in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute, József Csiszár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vendel Sass made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute. Vendel Sass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vendel Sass quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Vendel Sass in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lázár Csiszár hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Fenyves in the 74th minute of the match. Károly Szepesvári kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Alex Zádori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Levente Pucheli struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE to leave the ground with a draw.
