Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabri Dino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Netherlands made a substitution. Bart Zomerhuis replaced Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 17th minute, Ricardo Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabri Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of the match. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Bart Zomerhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabri Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Abeyta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabri Dino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of the match. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sabri Dino quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dikili Sahil Spor's zone, Bart Zomerhuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Dino came out of the goal and Bart Zomerhuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabri Dino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bart Zomerhuis's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Zomerhuis in the 41st minute of play forced Dikili Sahil Spor's goalkeeper Sabri Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Netherlands were furious when Egbert Nijveldt was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dikili Sahil Spor:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Dikili Sahil Spor's Zeki Önatlı got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnout Reekers. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dikili Sahil Spor's goalkeeper Sabri Dino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. If Bart Zomerhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabri Dino made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Bart Zomerhuis sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dikili Sahil Spor's goalkeeper Sabri Dino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Dikili Sahil Spor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sabri Dino quite easily take care of the ball. Sabri Dino made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Sabri Dino was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 85th minute Oktay Derelioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feyyaz Ucan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Dikili Sahil Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Abeyta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dikili Sahil Spor's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Dino came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
