Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Lundström kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Gitarriu's Joel Lundström got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Frankie Yankovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Frankie Yankovich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Frankie Yankovich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Damian Tipinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Damian Tipinski came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Tipinski having to interfere. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gitarriu the free kick. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Felix Alacuart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a Gitarriu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. Bernebe Sabugal charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernebe Sabugal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernebe Sabugal kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Germany players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
