Leonides Xacintu ran back to his position shaking his head. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Xacintu made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Farid Mondragon made a huge save. Belgium's Guillaume Bonte quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aigar Ojaperv, made in the 57th minute of the game. Leonides Xacintu scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Farid Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 63rd minute. Cihangir Türkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Leonides Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Farid Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Leonides Xacintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Farid Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Leonides Xacintu put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. After having played for 91 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Xacintu in the 95th minute of the match. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
