The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Victor Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Dalmai. After 24 minutes of play, Portugal's Viriato Moura made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Erauso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyprian Sroki to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute of the game Co Bayo made a throw-in which Adilson Rocha played forward. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Alijilán returns's Cyprian Sroki. But to his dismay, Cyprian Sroki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Sroki in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Co Bayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alijilán returns fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Mario Rodriguez scored 4-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes in the game Cipriano Tavio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jairo Dalmai. In the 85th minute Co Bayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Victor Erauso in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Co Bayo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Alijilán returns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Co Bayo couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alijilán returns.
