The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Bibiano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Balendin in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Julian Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Denmark's Lars Steen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Cibran's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Cibran helped the player get up and apologised. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Julian Demario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabalero and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julian Demario kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Sabalero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Stephen to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Bibiano skillfully saved the ball. Angel Nayely struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabalero. Daniel Perrando got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angel Nayely. 65 minutes into the game, Honorio Stephen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabalero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. Simon Bendtsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Simon Bendtsen managed to get in a good position for a shot.
