The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Ianis Man got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Margonin SA's goalkeeper Sorin Slătineanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shi Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Margonin SA's Mariusz Narbut got a free kick in the 15th minute. Shi Li struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sorin Slătineanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galati Harbour Cats. Margonin SA's Sorin Slătineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Li was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sorin Slătineanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Botyo Dimiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margonin SA's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shi Li in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sorin Slătineanu saved Margonin SA from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Shi Li notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Margonin SA's Sorin Slătineanu. Sorin Slătineanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31stth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margonin SA's Sorin Slătineanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Li in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sorin Slătineanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mo Yuan Fan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Margonin SA defense, Shi Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sorin Slătineanu. The Margonin SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sorin Slătineanu should have stopped the shot. After the first half Galati Harbour Cats were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hieronim Rykaczewski made a kick off. If Hieronim Rykaczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute of the match, Shi Li got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sorin Slătineanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Shi Li's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sorin Slătineanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Margonin SA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Shi Li scored to the left of an out of position Sorin Slătineanu, making the score, 0-4. Sorin Slătineanu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Shi Li sent off a good shot on target. Shi Li scored 0-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sorin Slătineanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Konstanty Parajewski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a little luck, Margonin SA's Sorin Slătineanu got control of the ball when Shi Li tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Margonin SA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Konstanty Parajewski hit a great ball. Margonin SA's Sorin Slătineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Margonin SA from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Shi Li reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sorin Slătineanu. The goal made the score 0-6. When Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margonin SA's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 76th minute of play forced Margonin SA's goalkeeper Sorin Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 79th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sorin Slătineanu. Sorin Slătineanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Sorin Slătineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ianis Man, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sorin Slătineanu. That made the score 0-9 after 87 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Mo Yuan Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Margonin SA's Konstanty Parajewski got a free kick in the 95th minute.
