The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 刘洋朗 in the 3rd minute of play. Petruț Dicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ianis Man, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Exército Português's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Petrescu was slow to take the kick. During this time Galati Harbour Cats's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute, Shi Li left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 刘洋朗 in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Exército Português's 刘洋朗 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Soare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Norberto Liberato kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Gois's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Soare was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Octavian Soare came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Exército Português's Bruno Soveral. But to his dismay, Bruno Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, 刘洋朗 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Soare came out of the goal and 刘洋朗 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ianis Man fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Dicu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Carvalhais got free with Octavian Soare in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 刘洋朗 got free with Octavian Soare in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavian Soare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Gois in the 36th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galati Harbour Cats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 倪源真 was slow to take the kick. During this time Exército Português's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Exército Português's 倪源真 to fire away a dangerous shot which Octavian Soare despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Veríssimo Guerreiro made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Claudiu Manolescu. Petruț Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 40th minute of the match. Petruț Dicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ianis Man, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shi Li stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shi Li received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petruț Dicu came out and tried to block the shot, but Shi Li slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petruț Dicu. That made the score 2-4 after 56 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Li got free with Petruț Dicu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Antoni Dembkowski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Exército Português's zone, Shi Li stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Dicu came out of the goal and Shi Li tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Veríssimo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Exército Português had been in control for most of the match, Galati Harbour Cats still came away with the win.
