In the 5th minute of the match, Ianis Man tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barnaba Trochowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shi Li who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Barnaba Trochowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Octavian Soare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Miarka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shi Li came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Li couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, FC Staszów United's goalkeeper Barnaba Trochowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zdzislaw Sidor in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Soare saved Galati Harbour Cats from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Antoni Dembkowski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Staszów United's Barnaba Trochowski. Barnaba Trochowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Shi Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barnaba Trochowski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Wojciech Zima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurand Antoszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. FC Staszów United's Barnaba Trochowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Staszów United from getting a goal against them. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Zima in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ianis Man in the 31st minute of play forced FC Staszów United's goalkeeper Barnaba Trochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ianis Man did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Barnaba Trochowski 31 minutes into the match. Barnaba Trochowski was a little too slow when Shi Li got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. If Antoni Dembkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barnaba Trochowski was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Shi Li capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Li really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Barnaba Trochowski. That made the score 5-0 after 42 minutes of play. Antoni Dembkowski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Bartlomiej Piczak hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Li to make the kick off. Miromir Gamza kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Trochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Li in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Trochowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes FC Staszów United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Petrescu who took care of the corner kick. Dan Petrescu made a great header on Galati Harbour Cats's corner, it was just that FC Staszów United's Barnaba Trochowski managed to reach the ball for a save. 91 minutes into the game, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnaba Trochowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Zdzislaw Sidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Octavian Soare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
