The referee ignored GAUJA's protests and gave Christian Marder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GAUJA getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Christian Marder hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Piczak came free, but Toms Felss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Lluis kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Barnaba Trochowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Silvanito's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The GAUJA fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when GAUJA's German Silvanito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Barnaba Trochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. GAUJA's Margots Kornieks got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, FC Staszów United's Gilbert Raszek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 22nd minute German Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Trochowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led GAUJA's Margots Kornieks to fire away a dangerous shot which Barnaba Trochowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, GAUJA's Toms Felss got control of the ball when Wasyl Wolczewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When GAUJA's Antonio Lluis in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Staszów United's goalie prevented a goal. Barnaba Trochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the FC Staszów United defense, German Silvanito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barnaba Trochowski. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Lluis made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Staszów United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Antonio Lluis 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GAUJA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
