Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Cai Wei Xi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Cuss. Goo Goo Dolls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Wei Xi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cai Wei Xi got free with Benjamin Cuss in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 minutes of play, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Cai Wei Xi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Cuss was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teddy Ball during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliézer Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Benjamin Cuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Goo Goo Dolls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Cuss should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tala Bosques del Jaure had played much better football throughout.
