Lam Para took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorian Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The COPO CHEIO fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when COPO CHEIO's Valdomiro Braga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, Washington Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Llorian Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lam Para. COPO CHEIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Llorian Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Paulino Niguel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CACHI's Timoteo Ipar got control of the ball when Filipe Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timoteo Ipar made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Filipe Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. If Filipe Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Elias Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lam Para saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lam Para showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, COPO CHEIO's Nildo do Valle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 48 played minutes COPO CHEIO got a freekick which was hit by Válter Fontes. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Meirelles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdomiro Braga in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Ipar saved CACHI from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Filipe Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The excitement rose when COPO CHEIO's Nildo do Valle after 67 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for CACHI's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. When Baltasar Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CACHI's protests and gave Baltasar Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, CACHI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llorian Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Paulino Niguel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Elias Etxepare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CACHI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COPO CHEIO the free kick. After 93 played minutes CACHI got a freekick which was hit by Elias Etxepare. Filipe Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Timoteo Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Braga in the 97th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo do Valle during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 99 played minutes COPO CHEIO got a freekick which was hit by Nildo do Valle.
