Amador Casaviella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Meirelles in the 11th minute of the match. Amador Casaviella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Filipe Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Casaviella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Valdomiro Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spor Las Huevas's Amador Casaviella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lam Para made an important save on a dangerous shot by Canor Molinuevo in the 24th minute. Amador Casaviella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Berbiz Gobantes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Meirelles came free, but Amador Casaviella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Casaviella having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Filipe Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spor Las Huevas's Amador Casaviella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Albornoz charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Albornoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the game, COPO CHEIO's Filipe Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Casaviella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half COPO CHEIO were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of COPO CHEIO booed when Spor Las Huevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Olalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spor Las Huevas's Amador Casaviella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Alvaro Albornoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Canor Molinuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lam Para having to interfere. A collision led to Spor Las Huevas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Quirze Lizana hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Mede Torriba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mede Torriba in the 66th minute of play forced COPO CHEIO's goalkeeper Lam Para to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Casaviella made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Filipe Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Spor Las Huevas's zone, Valdomiro Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Casaviella came out of the goal and Valdomiro Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Alvaro Albornoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Albornoz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Filipe Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Casaviella having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Canor Molinuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spor Las Huevas's supporters rose to their feet, but Canor Molinuevo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lam Para breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nildo do Valle's late challenge caught a Spor Las Huevas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nildo do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, COPO CHEIO's Nildo do Valle got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Quirze Lizana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over COPO CHEIO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Spor Las Huevas throughout the match.
