The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Petersson in the 7th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Robert Lönn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Petersson in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Dindarbelidiyespor were awarded a corner. Mårten Hedkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Dindarbelidiyespor's Mårten Hedkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Robert Lönn got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Dindarbelidiyespor booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Petersson was the one to do the kick off. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After 51 played minutes, Dindarbelidiyespor's Mårten Hedkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dindarbelidiyespor reached it. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Petersson in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Fredrik Wiman in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dindarbelidiyespor's Fredrik Wiman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Dindarbelidiyespor from getting a goal against them. Dennis Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Gottfrid Ekström made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to Dindarbelidiyespor getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mårten Hedkvist hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Ekström in the 92nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottfrid Ekström in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. With his leg Fredrik Wiman managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dindarbelidiyespor fully deserved thier win.
