Cristian Cristea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Mihăiţă Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Stoicii booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Gijselinckx to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Stoicii defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. The Stoicii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihăiţă Mirciulescu should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute of the match England got a corner. Stoicii's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Stoicii's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Micah Macdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Mirciulescu having to interfere. When England's Issac Dawson in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stoicii's goalie prevented a goal. Micah Macdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Macdonald ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandru Zaki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Claudiu Popescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Eddie Willis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicii the free kick. Claudiu Popescu scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khalid Kennedy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Zaki in the 74th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caelan Hayes to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 79th minute of the match.
