The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. If Leon Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Alistair Morrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland and the Milagro Sobre Césped players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alistair Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Teofilo Cefero in the 36th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Alexander Higgins kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Teofilo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Cefero to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Van Lint made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fletcher Main in the 53rd minute. If Omar Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. In the 67th minute, Robert McNeill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Teofilo Cefero sped through Scotland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. After 71st play minutes Leon Txatxu shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Alexander Higgins and just under the crossbar into goal. Ashton Nelson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Zac O'Donnell's late challenge caught a Milagro Sobre Césped's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zac O'Donnell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Zac O'Donnell hit a great ball. The Milagro Sobre Césped fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Milagro Sobre Césped's Teofilo Cefero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Milagro Sobre Césped's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
