After having played for 12 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andriy Shevchenko scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Andriy Shevchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Farafulla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryan Portanares in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on Farafulla FC's corner Ryan Portanares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andriy Shevchenko took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 58 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelo Boni. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Farafulla FC's Ryan Portanares in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Farafulla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andriy Shevchenko in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andriy Shevchenko in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Farafulla FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behçet Alp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Farafulla FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
