In the 18th minute Renato Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Gilg in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Quadros in the 29th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Olivier Gilg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Flavinho Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Eliézer Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Olivier Gilg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Reis having to interfere. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado was substituted for Olivier Gilg.

In the 52nd minute, Ramón Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Ramón Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavinho Reis came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramón Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Iigo in the 64th minute of the match. Flavinho Reis came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Song Xiong Hong. But to his dismay, Song Xiong Hong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卓潮川 in the 75th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Castro made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leo Iigo. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 79th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Ramón Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Rodrigo Ely seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rodrigo Ely the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CE LAJEADENSE RS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rodrigo Ely had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 82 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Ely. Flavinho Reis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Song Xiong Hong. When Celsinho Castro fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Celsinho Castro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Celsinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramón Furtado had several of the CE LAJEADENSE RS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Flavinho Reis as he didn't even see the shot coming. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's attentive José Augusto Lara managed to snatch the ball when Celsinho Castro made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Quadros in the 95th minute of play. Ramón Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
