CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 25th minute of play. Flavinho Reis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sílvio Luís Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Jhon Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Guang Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualter Távora in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Gualter Távora put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flavinho Reis. In the 40th minute, Pinhote FC's Sílvio Luís Ceresso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Sílvio Luís Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Flavinho Reis made a huge save. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. Flavinho Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Rosen came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Rodríguez was the one to do the kick off. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Rosen in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Imre Hellinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavinho Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Rosen in the 55th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celsinho Castro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leonel Martins got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pinhote FC had played much better football throughout.
