Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Cavalera got free with Pontus Nordström in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ogro F.C.'s attentive Dan Zimmermann managed to snatch the ball when Igor Furtado made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 19th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Igor Cavalera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pontus Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute Andreas Landgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Andréas Hasselqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alysson Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Lordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Nicko McBrain replaced Adelino Antunes. Jerônimo Vergílio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Poreda to maneuver through the defense. Pontus Nordström came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera. But to his dismay, Igor Cavalera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Elmo Jaanovits replaced Gerardo Lordi. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by João Barone with Igor Cavalera as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dan Zimmermann spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Santa Margarita's goal.
