Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Billberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute Kalle Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 62nd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Moisés Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Celsinho Montenegro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström.
