When Váldson Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrapichel - FDFDF's protests and gave Váldson Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carrapichel - FDFDF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Váldson Alagoano hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Beto Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Micah Macdonald sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Bertassi skillfully saved the ball. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes of play, England's Kyle Cox made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Issac Dawson came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Issac Dawson couldn't finish the play. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edson Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Váldson Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Fernandes in the 24th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Carrapichel - FDFDF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of England:s goal. In the 28th minute, Micah Macdonald made a precise shot to the right of Edson Bertassi. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Abel de Barros hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Edson Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Willis hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Rogério Alcântara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for England. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Neto in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carrapichel - FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after England's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogério Alcântara took the corner. Micah Macdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Edson Bertassi made a huge save. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 70th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Fernandes in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute Abel de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Fernandes in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, David Fernandes put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Khalid Kennedy. Carrapichel - FDFDF made a substitution. Oséias de Brito replaced Abel de Barros. In the 93rd minute Oséias de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over England could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carrapichel - FDFDF throughout the match.
