Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Nygaard kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Keenan Blake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 5th minute, Robin Irvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keenan Blake in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 11th minute, Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 14th match minute, Lake Junaluska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winston Sheppard to maneuver through the defense. In the 15thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Joel Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes, Winston Sheppard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lake Junaluska FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when Lake Junaluska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winston Sheppard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Carro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Winston Sheppard came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Vince Mabry made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robin Irvin immediately put the ball in play. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Hilario Carro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Hilario Carro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keenan Blake was the one to do the kick off. Jonathon Frost might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathon Frost ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Bendtsen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Darron Messer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darron Messer in the 62nd minute of the match. Keenan Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Hilario Carro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Lake Junaluska FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Joel Pollard hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Carro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lake Junaluska FC made a substitution. Evan Haas replaced Trevor Hamlin. Lake Junaluska FC's Cyrus Hamlin was substituted for Jonathon Frost. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes in the game Vince Mabry did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robin Irvin. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 77th minute. Winston Sheppard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Carro saved Lake Junaluska FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Lake Junaluska FC's Hilario Carro got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Pollard in the 93rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Mabry made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Darron Messer however managed to control. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
