Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 9th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Juvenal Guerreiro's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Guerreiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Guerreiro. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Pascoal Espírito Santo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Machados FC V2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's David Eikelkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Lima despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Li Haab hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Machados FC V2's Matthias Tham was substituted for Hildeberto Cortez. After 38 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Li Haab. After 40 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Paredes. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Mailat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Mailat to make the kick off. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. After 58 played minutes Machados FC V2 got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Mailat. Kees Mooiweer made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lars Meesters. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 67th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Lima having to interfere. After 80 minutes Machados FC V2's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodrigo Lima in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Lima came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 95th minute Bogdan Mailat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Machados FC V2.
