Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Palestine's Bedrettin Özguven started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedrettin Özguven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floris Claeys hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedrettin Özguven in the 21st minute of the match. Erhun Bilek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of the match. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Palestine's protests and gave Eser İşcan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Eser İşcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedrettin Özguven struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestine. 37 minutes into the match, Palestine's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Erhun Bilek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Bedrettin Özguven capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bedrettin Özguven really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Erhun Bilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bedrettin Özguven. In the 45th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhun Bilek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erhun Bilek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Edward Vanderstraeten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erhun Bilek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Bedrettin Özguven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Palestine made a substitution. Maximo Urritz replaced Anísio Matorin. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palestine's goalkeeper Erhun Bilek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 69th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Erhun Bilek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Enis Behiç Cangun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palestine's Tahsin Savtuna was substituted for Eser İşcan. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Macit Serter was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestine's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Palestine's corner Macit Serter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. Palestine's Silvério Salgado quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Floris Claeys, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 80th minute Enis Behiç Cangun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Salgado hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Laurens Vandamme hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Maximo Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestine's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Urritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enis Behiç Cangun in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. The supporters of Palestine booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Clocheret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enis Behiç Cangun in the 94th minute of play.
