Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pieter-Maarten Vaes kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 4th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Werner Impens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Pieter-Maarten Vaes made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Slovakia's Henrich Slany tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metod Mlynar in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Impens saved FC Bredene from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, FC Bredene's Pieter-Maarten Vaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Waut Rouckeloos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrich Slany. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. FC Bredene's Arnaud Schouters got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Van Den Wijngaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Werner Impens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. Pavol Koleno charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavol Koleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Pavol Koleno hit a great ball. If Johnny Van Den Wijngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Bredene defense, Metod Mlynar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Werner Impens. The FC Bredene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Werner Impens should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metod Mlynar got free with Werner Impens in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute, Jeroen Verdonckt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeroen Verdonckt to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Pieter-Maarten Vaes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henrich Slany quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the game, Johnny Van Den Wijngaert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peter Bautmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Bautmans in the 74th minute of the match. Pieter-Maarten Vaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Bredene's Pieter-Maarten Vaes in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Pieter-Maarten Vaes sped through Slovakia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Werner Impens made a huge save. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Den Wijngaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Bautmans in the 93rd minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Metod Mlynar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 95th playminute.
