A hard shot 17 in the game by Cristinel Pandele from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Pandele received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristinel Pandele slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Nikola Vlašić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei. Niculae Ailenei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 33rd minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Chevaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Vlašić to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chevaliers FC's Niculae Ailenei. Niculae Ailenei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris-George Chevalier. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Calvin Huff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chevaliers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Huff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristinel Pandele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Chevaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Navarro to maneuver through the defense.

Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Navarro in the 61st minute of play. Aristides Higuera hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Chevaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Niculae Ailenei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Antonio Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Niculae Ailenei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Ailenei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 80th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Pandele in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristinel Pandele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
