The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 4th minute. Boruc Furgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 10th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Boruc Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Furgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Boruc Furgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deodato Magliozzi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Boruc Furgal in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Norbert Kostka in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Gomberto Picozzi. In the 85th match minute, Kania Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pleban to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Italy's Adriano Curto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boruc Furgal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boruc Furgal came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Adriano Curto. But to his dismay, Adriano Curto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Boruc Furgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide in the 91st minute of play. Daniel Pleban kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kania Gostyń's zone, Porziano Marchitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boruc Furgal came out of the goal and Porziano Marchitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
