Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin McNamara in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led Denmark's Chris Nygaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Henning Berglund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin McNamara to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikkel Wulff's late challenge caught a Wyoming Cowboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikkel Wulff helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wyoming Cowboys booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin McNamara came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Huston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Nils McNamara made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
