After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Hompanera to make the kick off. Carl Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Hompanera in the 53rd minute of play. Karl Powderham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Karl Powderham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Reyes Pescaredo with Angel Piñera as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the BES MUDI BANDITS defense, Leo Hompanera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carl Sparrow. The BES MUDI BANDITS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Sparrow should have stopped the shot. A collision led to BES MUDI BANDITS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bernie Groves hit a great ball. Quiróz Olaondo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carl Sparrow. BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 96 minutes, Reyes Pescaredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANTERANOS DMS and the BES MUDI BANDITS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
