Victorio Lapurdi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Fábio Cardoso. 0-1. Luís Fábio Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Claus went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leo Junior struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fernan Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leripe Lifestyle. Leripe Lifestyle's Luís Fábio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Bonadona in the 19th minute of play. Leo Junior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fernan Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Bonadona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fábio Cardoso was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Luan de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Tancredo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Cardoso saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. Luís Fábio Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Bonadona in the 36th minute of play. Gualterio Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Luís Fábio Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho Nogueira to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by João Carlos Mangueira in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olds School Pepo's Alejandro Cortez. With a little luck, Leripe Lifestyle's Luís Fábio Cardoso got control of the ball when Gualterio Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Maurício Quadros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leripe Lifestyle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olds School Pepo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Maurício Quadros got a free kick in the 65th minute. Leripe Lifestyle's Chicão Silva was substituted for Luan de Castro. Leripe Lifestyle's Erasmo Velloso was substituted for Wanderson de Lima. Leripe Lifestyle made a substitution. Caio Félix replaced Roger Meirelles. Leripe Lifestyle were furious when Caio Félix was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Caio Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alejandro Cortez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Celsinho Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Leripe Lifestyle manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Olds School Pepo to win.
