Juarês Meiras short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Carl Sparrow to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Powderham came free, but Dalmo Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Teles made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BES MUDI BANDITS's Porter Egel. In the 20th minute of the match Edwardo Mueller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmo Freire skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, BES MUDI BANDITS's Dallas Isaac got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 28 played minutes BES MUDI BANDITS got a freekick which was hit by Porter Egel. After 29 played minutes BES MUDI BANDITS got a freekick which was hit by Dallas Isaac. In the 31st minute Luís Gustavo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Sparrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Deivid Lira sped through BES MUDI BANDITS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carl Sparrow. EC Fragata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, EC Fragata's Deivid Lira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 45 played minutes BES MUDI BANDITS got a freekick which was hit by Porter Egel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Kenneth Heathwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dalmo Freire. That made the score 3-1 in the 51 minute of play. Carl Sparrow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Lara in the 57th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Juarês Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Sparrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Freire in the 63rd minute of play. Edwardo Mueller hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Carioca in the 67th minute of play forced BES MUDI BANDITS's goalkeeper Carl Sparrow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, BES MUDI BANDITS's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Freire came free, but Carl Sparrow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deivid Lira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Sparrow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Luís Gustavo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Carl Sparrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BES MUDI BANDITS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Dalmo Freire successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, BES MUDI BANDITS's Dallas Isaac got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Percy Freire made a precise shot to the right of Carl Sparrow. BES MUDI BANDITS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 91st minute Luís Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Sparrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Kenneth Heathwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juarês Meira came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the EC Fragata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Meira couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the EC Fragata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
